Okay, this is a stupid question.

  1. Hey guys,

I am not sure about this and it's a really really stupid question.
If a new biome is released in an update, do you have to reset your map for this or does your world map changes automatically? I think that you have to reset the world and make a new world.

You don't need to reset anything.
However, only chunks that haven't been generated before will generate new biomes.

  3. So when you have a world from version 1.6.4 and you only have one chuck loaded, then you put the world in a 1.7.4 server the rest of the unloaded chunks will generate 1.7.4 stuff?

If you deleted a chunk it would probably regenerate as a new biome if it's in one. If you want to have new biomes without making a new world I would recommend walking far out where you haven't been before.

  5. Thats what I wanted to know, thanks man you helped me. Because I have an old world before the horse update. I was wondering if horses would spawn in UNLOADED chunks. You answered my question!

  6. Not stupid - could be a faq entry, somewhere.
