Trying too download the reccomended version will download but nothing more

basic i click too down load it downloads i open it and it dissapers

will not even open a window for it either

@necrodoom it does not recognize the above file type. i saved as run.bat tryed it with "run.bat".txt also already re-installed Java

Necrodoom sorry confused my first time dealing with this kinda stuff. So i need add a filenamed craftbukkit.jar into the run.bat text or the run.bat folder itself.

 

alexj1474 Folder. Craftbukkit.jar is the one you downloaded from dl.bukkit.org.

 

Necrodoom i just re-downloaded it and it says the same thing

i also added it the folder as well just in case people feel im 90 years old and don't know what a computer is

My boyfriend copied and pasted his sever on my computer and delisted all the old files and server data and cept the plugins that I needed thanks for the help!

 

Ok i have no idea what to do now even his copy of a sever is having issues!
my Run.bat file has this in it

My sever says this
Unable too too access jarfile craftbukkit.jar

oh and yes the craftbukkit file is in the same file as the rest of the sever files

Make sure the jar file is called craftbukkit.jar. Also can i see a screen shot of the folder?

Call the the jar just craftbukkit and it should work no .jar or anything just craftbukkit

Yeah what version did you download? Make sure to download the correct one. 1.7.2.

 

wait i thought that one was still not working? PolarCraft

 

I am running it and the blocks work . Or you can use the 1.6.4 version.
