Whoo 1.7.2 on Bukkit

Uh hey I was thinking, since for every release there is always a mass of people who can't be patient and wait maybe a good solution would be to setup an opt in update for that version.

As in, for example 1.7.2 is being developed, so have an email list where a user can opt in to get a message of when the first alpha/beta/ or release build is completed. Then maybe people will wait for the email rather than be so annoying.

I prefer not being a twit. Otherwise nice to know for those that are using Twitter.

 

It'd be a hassle for the developers. I check once a day and if it's not up yet then I check the next day

 

There is a site for Dev builds and whatnot, just check it daily.

Bukkit will always release a development build, it is released as a 'runnable' build. It's not recommended to run but exists for you to use.

 

I hit F5 on the page every roughly five minutes. #patiencemasterrace

 

I saw 3 threads in a row under "What's new?" talking about 1.7, then I saw the title of this one quickly thinking that they just released a dev build. Disappointment is not always fun =(
