Plugin category: Fun and Miscellaneous Suggested name: CratePlugin What I want: A crate is something that can be a donator perk or a voting/event perk to give out to players. When you type /crate it shows how many you have. When you do /crate open it opens a crate and in the crates is randomly chosen by what you put in the config file. The crate is given to the player based on how rare it is, like a scale from 1-10 or something with 10 being the most rare. The items you get are configurable and you can have as many crates as you want and then an announcer thing so players can see in chat "<Player> has received <whatever config for the crate says> from opening a crate!". Then the to player who got it the games just lists them based on what I can put in the config. Please try to allow color coding customization in the config file please Ideas for commands: /crate - Shows who made the plugin and what version it is /crate balance - Shows how many crates you have /crate open - Opens a crate and gives you the items the config says to /crate give <name> <amount> - Gives crates to a player with a specified amount Ideas for permissions: crate.crate crate.balance crate.open crate.give When I'd like it by: Within the next week or so would be nice. Also I do know about this plugin: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/mystery-box/ But the commands don't are not how I want them to be and doesn't announce what get from opening it in chat.
wigglesmanhi I notice you have a crate.give, How are players to give these to another user, will it cost a certain amount or how will it work?
Yeah its a random item or items depending on what the config can hold like a crate could be a stack of each color of wool and have a rare chance of 8 or something if thats means something
Hmm. I've made something similar to this. I'll see what I can do. Probably can be done ~Nov. 6, reason being, birthday and root canal right after each other ;p **EDIT** I made it so when you do /crate open, it opens a custom inventory full of items, kind of like an SG chest, but not really. Working on customization and random, because as of now, it only gives you 3 diamonds and a diamond pick ;p Tell me if you want it where certain ranks get certain things, because I can /try/ to do it. Wow amazing thank you, what I've men't is like /crate open just opens one of the random crates in the config. So its not like certain ranks get certain crates its fair for everyone.
