      Define the area with the "Wooden Hoe" (use rightclick)
    • /farea <areaname> -> Adds an Area

    • /fareatoggle <areaname> autosave -> toggles the autosave function of an area. Autosave = save blocks, when toggling the area off.
    • /fareatoggle <areaname> protect -> toggles the protection of an area. ON = Area is only destroyable/buildable to users with permission: falsebook.destroy.blocks

    Honestly, I don't use the youtube videos, so I wouldn't know. He released them recently, so of course he doesn' have everything
    On almost every page in this thread, it's been asked and said that the ICs are explains on the craftbook wiki. Usually has a link to. Like this.

    I guess I found a bug !

    I successfully created a toggleable area. Then I decided to make godlike thing (put others signs that could make it dis/appear) but ... I guess it f**ked everything up ...

    Now, even if I destroyed every other signs/levers/redstone previously linked.
    Even when there is only a single signs only powered by yours hands, text appears "your area has been toggled"
    But my area doesn't appear anymore ...

    What can I do ?

    The area saves its state everytime, when it toggles from visible to not visible. There will be an option in 0.82 to disable this behavior.

    Area doesn't appear anymore despite my sign ..
    So it means area is toggled invisible and there is nothing I can do to undo this ?

    (All I want is getting my area back to life ... because for now, it's like I destroyed it)

    PS : My farea still appears in /listfarea so that sign command still "working" BUT area doesn't (re)appear

    ok thats better than nothing, but lot of ICs are missing there.

    of course, may be, in the whole thread are some links diffused.
    but it would be better, if the links are in the first Post.
    i wont read 27 Pages of an Thread, for just one link to find.

    better in first post an Link to the ICs than "eat or die".

    well, just a little PHP-Script and a MySQL-Database, so i write my own site to list all ICs.
    even if its just for me, but its more useful then.

    anyway, thx for the link.

    Sorry for that!

    I'm currently working on a full wiki for all the supported ICs. It will be available sometime in the next two weeks. I will write down the link into the first post, when most of the features are done!

    Yeah that is exactly what I meant. Areas are still experimental and this is a known bug in the areas.

    The Area is still there, but the blocks aren't anymore. This will be fixed in the next version.

    Well two more questions to go :
    1°) Any idea about release date of this update ?
    2°) What should I do : restore my map as it was previously or wait for the update ?
    (I mean, will the update be able to restore blocks already gone ? Or just "future" blocks ?)

    I can easily understand you may not be able to answer me correctly since you don't have coded it yet :/

    I just realised that when I right-click a single time on the sign, it activates twice.
    So I guess that's why my blocks doesn't appear anymore.
    (That's only guess)

    EDIT : in fact the same "farea" has been registered twice...
    IDK how this is possible, since I didn't myself ...
    I doubt it's the reason of my problem

    That's because air is a not allowed block for this. You must choose the other blocktype (like stone), and then it will turn to air, when turned off.

    Example
    [MC1207]
    stone
    5

    ON = stone
    OFF = Air

    AIR, AIR would be unlogic :p

    How to Use the new ICs

    IC1210:
    Description:
    Sets a specific area to toggle between 2 different blocktypes.

    1. Line: SET-PDOOR
    2. Line: [MC1210]
    3. line: The 2 Blocktypes to toggle
    4. Line: x,y:w,h

    x = offset to Left/Right

    y = offset to Up/Down
    w = width of the new area
    H = Height of the area

    Example:
    1. SET-PDOOR
    2. [MC1210]
    3. stone-dirt

    4. 0,1:2,3

    Result:
    This will create an vertical area 1 block above the ic block with a width of 2 and a Height of 3. Stone, if on. Dirt, if off.

    IC1211:
    Description:
    Sets a specific area to toggle between 2 different blocktypes.

    1. Line: SET-PBRIDGE
    2. Line: [MC1211]
    3. line: The 2 Blocktypes to toggle
    4. Line: x,y:w,d

    x = offset to Left/Right

    y = offset to Up/Down
    w = width of the new area
    D = Depth of the area

    Example:
    1. SET-PBRIDGE
    2. [MC1211]
    3. stone-dirt

    4. -1,1:3,6

    Result:
    This will create an horizontal area 1 block above the ic, and 1 block to the left of the ic with a width of 3 and a depth of 6. Stone, if on. Dirt, if off.



    IC1220:
    Description:
    Resets a specific blocktype with another. The IC searches all the specified blocks, connected to the ic directly, or indirectly.


    1. Line: BLOCK-REPLACER
    2. Line: [MC1220]
    3. line: The 2 Blocktypes to toggle
    4. Line: TicksToWait,SortAlgorithm

    Sort Algorithm = 1 OR 2, OR 3
    TicksToWait = 0 or above (0 will replace all blocks at once)


    Example:
    1. BLOCK-REPLACER
    2. [MC1220]
    3. stone-dirt

    4. 1:1


    Result:
    This IC will search the connected blocks made of stone and replace them with dirt. It will use the sort-algorithm "1" and always wait 1 Tick, before toggling the next Block-Layer.


    Warning:
    THIS IC is HIGHLY experimental and can 'cause a lag, if you use it massively.

    I don't know how to code, so I don't know if this is a real possibility or not...but I think it would be nice if you could specify the length or height of a door with only one sign instead of two.

    Have it be like

    Line1
    Line2 [Door Up]
    Line3 5

    To make a door that goes up 5 blocks, without needing a sign at the top. Same thing for a sign with [Door Down]

    It's hard to find neat ways to hide secret walls and such when you have to cover the sign at the top =/

    Can't seem to get the new IC's to work. I threw up a 1220 and it doesn't fill in the top line with the name

    Air-Air used to work, and is logical when I use it to remove a block in that spot anytime the the input is toggled. It only removes the block when the input changes. I used it with a block sensor to consume a block when it was placed in a special hole. The block sensor would trigger and trigger both the effect and trigger the set-block to air to remove the block as a donation.

    Not everyone uses IC (Me, I use PailStone for IC's, we don't need the complex ones)
    So it should still be implemented for the sake of simplicity :)

    Oh... I'm not able to activate a [Gate] sign, from redstone below? I could with Craftbook...

    I need a tiny bit of help, this plugin works fine. But only if you're an admin. I have this under permissions and it doesn't appear to be working for anyone but admins. As far as I know, my permissions is correct. I'm using permissions 2.5.4, I tried 2.5.5 but I wasn't able to get that working with our server. I'm using the most current build of bucket as of 4/7/11, 11pm est. If anyone could help me out that would be great. ^^;

    Hm it won't accept "air" or "0" as a blocktype. How do I get it to toggle the blocks out of existence?

    EDIT: Nm I'm retarded. For anyone else facepalming this, you just don't put another block type to toggle air. So line three just says "stone" instead of "stone-air."

    It detects the options from the last line of the sign. For example:

    • Lights > 'L0,1:2,10'
    • Fencing > 'F0,1:2,10'
    • Both > 'B0,1:2,10'
    I'm going to try and simplify the ICs for those who find it too complicated. I may just create two whole new ICs that just allow specifying the y-position and dimensions.

    Watch out for weather in Minecraft 1.5 Update and combining it with falsebook "wheatermachine" ;)
    or what about the "Piston Mod" is comming into 1.5 or 1.6 Update... that will implement mechanics like falsebook into MC, but with more space needed. but in combination, that will be awesome? ;)

    GeMoschen, two bug reports regarding this release.

    1. Changing the SortBlock configuration directive has no effect, sort blocks are still bound to Netherrack regardless of what I set this to.

    2. I'm experiencing erratic behavior with constant speed blocks which worked as expected in 0.81. The blocks (which I have set at the default of 0.2) are accelerating carts at an extremely high rate, causing it to jump the track at any corner or hill. This occurs with doFrictionFix set to either true or false, and both if the minecart is occupied or unoccupied. I've tested with both the craftBukkit 670 and 617 builds.     And for your Problem, have you the rights to use FalseBookBlock?

    And what is a [DGate] ?

    Hey thanks for those Additions! I will implement those with 0.83.

    For me they do accelerate, when powered on :/
    But anyway. If you want to accelerate the cart, use the Booster instead.

    This is strange as it is not happening for me. Try to delete FalseBook.properties. Maybe this may fix the error. Anyway: I will take a look into it.

    I think this has nothing to do with FalseBook. The Error occurs from the Permissions-plugin, not from FalseBook.

    A [DGate] is the same as the Gate with only one difference. Normal gates will search for a gate in 3 in width and 16 in height.

    A DGate will only search for 1 in Width and 2 in Height. This may be useful, if you have more fences at the same place, but you only want to trigger one specific gate.
