I'm gettin in my console some error, it has never happend before, it started when i updated to 1.6, is there a way to fix this, or we'll have to wait for a new version with a fix for it? Code: 19:13:12 [SEVERE] Reached end of stream for null 19:13:12 [SEVERE] Reached end of stream for null 19:13:12 [SEVERE] Reached end of stream for null 19:13:15 [SEVERE] Reached end of stream for /xx.xxx.xxx.xx
This thing is extremely annoying. I noticed that, every time someone refreshes the server list and my server is listed there, this message is printed. 19:13:15 [SEVERE] Reached end of stream for <IP of the user refreshing the list>
i have the same exact error too, except it started happening after i deleted multiworld and posted the issue on here as well with 0 responses =/. I'll post here if i find something. I think what we may have to do is just go down to 1.5.2, which sadly mine-panel cannot do. Know if 1.6.2 plugins would do anything bad to a 1.5.2 server? Yup. That's what causes it. It may be due to the change in protocol to ping a server. Will they fix it? I hope so.
An end of stream error is what happens when the server stops sending data to the client. I'm not sure why this happens. This error is a bug in Java, not Minecraft or any mod/plugins/etc.
I have the same issue but to be honest I found out what was causing it. Citizens2 is what I have with Blacksmith and sentry. When I take Citizens2 out it stops doing it. I think what is happening is that Bukkit is thinking that the NPC is a player when in fact it is not so there is no IP to respond to the npc so it comes up null.... Anyone else using Citizens2? Or some kind of NPC plugin??
If you install craftbukkit 1.6.2 into 1.5.2 plugins/save files, you will just end up losing your world with a huge crash report on [CONSOLE].
This appears to be occurring with most NPC plugins. I don't have this problem on craftbukkit, but some people with MCPC/Spigot/Other Versions are having this issue. I'm unsure the cause.
Yes I currently own Citizens2 on my private server and have been getting this error ever since I installed it.
