While I understand that I should go submit a ticket to the plugin developer to update it, the developer last logged in January 2013. I don't think he'll reply anytime soon. The GNU General Public License this plugin has allows changing of files, so I don't think there's any legal problems there either. Therefore, I'm going to post a request here. What I want: I need this plugin updated (JumpPlus) to 1.6.2. Because this code uses NMS, I'm pretty sure it simply requires changing v1_4_6.stuff to v1_6_R2.stuff to update. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/jumpplus/ When I'd like it by: Soon, in a week or two preferably.
If I could update the plugin myself, I would be doing it myself, not posting it in the request section, haha.. But Mac OS X 10.6.8 only allows. JRE 6, not 7. Bump. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
I can take a look at it, the dev seems to be away and I hope you are correct on the licence (it has to many big words and takes a full paragraph to tell you what one word means...).
As far as I know, GPL licenses sums up to: the freedom to use the software for any purpose, the freedom to change the software to suit your needs, the freedom to share the software with your friends and neighbors, and the freedom to share the changes you make.
I'm currently working on updating it, ill do a quick Google search of the licence being summed up, then ill post the plugin depending on the licence restrictions. Edit: I finished updating the plugin. I have not fully tested it, I'm just going for "It compiled, and din't crash on startup". The plugin should work how it was before and any bugs there was before should still appear. This is only going to work on MC1.6.2, if MC gets updated, it wont work again. Later if I find time, I might make it so it automatically fixes when it detect a newer Minecraft, but for now its 1.6.2 DL: JumpPlus-V1_6_R2.jar
