Sprinting glitch in minecraft 1.6.1 bukkit server

Hello, when I walk straight without double tapping w, I walk back and forth which is very annoying and I can't sprint. However, my friend can sprint like 1.5.2, double tapping w to sprint, holding w to walk. I've only had this problem since 1.6.1 came out.

This is a known glitch in CB 1.6.1, it'll be resolved soon enough.

 

Fixed in 1.6.2 update.

This is fixed in 1.6.2.

 

This was a client side bug, not server.

 

Actually, it was caused by the server, because the server handles sprinting as of 1.6.1. That change has been reversed in 1.6.2 though.

It still doesn't seem to be fixed in 1.6.2 on all the servers I happen to play on.
