    • question. is there a way to make it to where whenever you copy something with world edit. it just pops up in your inventory so you can just place that copied item like a normal block?! if so how!. cause i want to build a mushroom castle and the color wont keep so i want to be able to copy a block and put it in my inventory and then place it normally. there are also a bunch of mushroom trees that are quite complicated to build that i would like to be able to copy, then spam all over the place by placing them down. the WE paste command sucks quite badly and im wondering if there is any other way. Im running a server and can grab a plugin if its needed. however my actual game is not modded as i dont want mods to be required to play my server.so just the server itself has a few plugins including World edit, and world guard. if you need any more info just ask and ill send. Contact me and or check out my server on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/h8rsminecraftkindom?ref=ts&fref=ts!

Could you bind the paste command to a tool?

    Use the //repl tool command

    Do this:

Build your structure, doesnt matter what you built it out of.

Once its built grab a tool from your inv ( iron shovel) or whatever.
Hold the tool and then type in //repl dirt

Now, with tool in hand go find a large mushroom and left click on the red pokadot block.
That will then configure the tool to be that block.

Go to your structure and right click with the tool and the blocks will turn into the red pokadot mushroom block.
