Plugin category: Admin Tools Suggested name: AnitGiveAway What I want: I would like a plugin that can prevent certain players from dropping, placing or putting certain items in a chest. These certain blacklisted items can be specified in the config file. On my server, I have a problem with donators giving away diamonds and other spawned items to regular players, and thus ruining the game. Instead of taking away their spawn rights completely, (which is their reason for donating), I would very much appreciate a plugin that, given a player has certain permission nodes, will prevent them to drop, place, or deposit in a chest the blacklisted items that would be specified in the config. This way I can only restrict the players that have creative mode/spawning rights and not the ones that actually got their diamonds legit. Ideas for commands: No commands needed for this plugin. Ideas for permissions: antigiveaway.enforce.drops - prevents the user from dropping the blacklisted items antigiveaway.enforce.chest - prevents the user from placing the blacklisted items in a chest antigiveaway.enforce.place - prevents the user from placing certain blocks (specified in the config) antigiveaway.enforce.* - enforces all restrictions. The idea is not bad. But what about placed blocks? The donators still could place diamond-, gold-, iron- and other high-value blocks in Creative mode and then other players could break them and gather those items.
Thanks, I guess I could just invert the permissions and give everyone else the ability to place banned blocks except people with creative/give. However, could this plugin work with non-block items (like diamond armour) as well?
Then I would suggest using an existing plugin like "CreativeControl" or similar. Because this is not a small thing to do if you think of every possible way to give away creative blocks to normal players.
