Manipulating a single pixel on a map (item)

    Hello everyone! I'm working on a plugin but I need to manipulate a pixel on the map that a player is holding (pixel at 1,1) to be red.

    I tried searching it up but can only find how to add text.

    There is no built in way to do this.
    i think it might be impossible

    There is, but it's really complicated. Look at md_5 with his fancy smancy map video

    Add a custom map renderer and just set that pixel?
