Having problems finding nodes for bPermissions?

I'm trying to get a permissions system setup on my server, I got the group.yml created, users.yml created. now time to add nodes! however.... no matter what node I add nothing works. I've looked through Essentials nodes to see if anything there was helpful, but I can't find anything... basically I'm not permitted to build/break/use tools/eat/interact with any block etc... etc... and I can't find any nodes that fix these problems!!!! I added myself as "Guest" so I add the nodes to the guest permissions, and nothings working!
I've tried
essentials.break
essentials.build
but none of those work! please someone help I've removed most of my plugins for the time being so there isn't so much confusion. if anyone can help that would be great

 

Have you formatted your .yml file correctly?

 

Formatted????? Explain? if you mean did I type everything correctly? then yes. my friends a programmer. he did it. I'm sure everything is made correctly.

you never gave essentials.build.

 

I'm sorry, my friend was trying something, so I ended up with that node... but where it says "bukkit.build" I can put "Essentials.build" and it still wont do anything.

 

what is the exact message when people cant build? might be another plugin, and i think Bpermissions has "permissions.build" but not sure.

 

"You don't have permission to use (block name)" I'll have to check into that when I get home, I don't know what other plugin it'd be, all I got right now is
