Essentials blacklist help

Does essentials support ID:ID(such as 17:2) for blacklist? I have tried this, then I found that all ID 17 blocks can't be placed. Could some tell me how to do that for ID like ID:ID? Or there are some other ways to do it? Thanks

 

That should work, you may be doing something wrong though. Copy and paste that one part of your Essentials config file here and we can see if there's something wrong in it.

P.S. I agree, Birch Wood is kind of ugly but, why ban it?

That ID 250:11 comes from the MOD Industrialcraft 2. Then it works , players can't place that thing. But the issue is that all IDs start with 250 can't be placed, such as 250:1 250:2 250:3. So I think there must some problem...
