DtlTrader + Gringotts = empty wallet after restart

I'm running a Bukkit server with, among others, DtlTrader and Gringots plugins. DtlTrader is part of the Citizen2 plugin and enables NPC based admin shops. Gringotts is a economy plugin for Vault that enables the use of emeralds as currency. It works great, except for one detail. Every time the server is restarted, the traders doesn't have any money and is unable to buy stuff from players. I have found two solutions to this: as an OP, buy a bunch of stuff from the trader or set an infinite wallet, however none of these solutions work over restarts. I have no idea if the problem is with DtlTrader or Gringotts, or how to fix it for more than one session, but i would really like to get rid of this problem, so any help is appreciated.

 

Did you try if the same problem happens with another economy plugin? If not, it's probably a Gringotts issue, and I'd ask you to post a ticket to the Gringotts bukkitdev page so I can keep track of it.

Gringotts does have some issues with Citizens traders, as I think these require fake player accounts, which Gringotts does not yet support (coming in the next release version though).

Thanks for the help and for a great plugin. I use this at the school where i work, and having a real item economy is great to encourage trading. There are some issues between DtlTrader and Gringotts, the /npc wallet commands seem messed up, delivering a error message or nothing at all. I can test this out some more if you want.

By the way, is it possible to set the enderchest as default vault, without each player having to put up a sign?

Does Craftbukkit have a startup script i can use as a quick fix?

 

As to testing, you can make a copy of the server and run it locally.

The enderchest is used as a vault by default, if you do not have any vaults setup, and your inventory is full. It's not yet possible to configure the order in which vault types are used.

Great idea. I can do that tonight.

I would just run the /npc commands to give the trader an infinite wallet on startup. I run the server on one of the laptops were playing on, so it's booted up and shut down once a day.

 

Oh, I see. Is the infinite wallet setup not saved somehow? I don't know of an easy way to autorun commands though.
