What IP are you using. If you are trying to login on the same computer, the IP is localhost OR 127.0.01 . If you are running from another computer, it is your internal IP. If you are trying to login from another internet (the IP you will give to friends), it can be found at http://www.whatsmyip.org/

Agreed. If you're connecting from a different computer than running the server you have to get that computers internal ip4 ip address. Go to windows cmd (Windows key and r then type cmd and hit ok) type in ipconfig and hit enter. Use the ip4 address it says (something like 192.168.-.--- or something) and use that for the ip to connect

I have played on the server before, me and my friends were building, he is hosting it from his computer, i took a new craftbukkit, put in new folder, made a whole new one, and it still is not working. I used his ip from google, when u type in what is my ip, we used that, and it worked fine, but when we logged in, it said we needed to update craftbukkit, so we did, not it isnt working......

  5. mmm, have THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM, under THE EXACT SAME CIRCUMSTANCES, but, I just double-click my craftbukkit.jar
if this does not work, then make sure you are opening it with Java(TM) SE binary

  6. it is not a perfect fix,(I want my console back!!!) but it will do.
