Hi there! I have a problem on my server....one of the ops decided to attack the server so he created a tower made of piston exensions so big you can't even look at it and the server crashes...i wiped the map but now he done this again....I tried removing it with world edit but it crashes the server....i even tried deleting it in single player but than....the minecraft client crashes...this is mainly caused by an error in which the java fails to load the "neighbors". So...is it possible for someone to make a plugin which completly removes all blocks of a certain type from the world? It would be something like this: /<command_name> <id> For security reasons it would be very good if you could use this command from console only. I would do this myself but i am not very good at manipulating blocks. Please help
short history: pistons=>wipe (i didn't knew then who did that)=>pistons(now i know but i don't want to wipe again) interval betwen wipe and now: 6 days...
Deop the idiot and hire some builders/players from your server to do it manually. Pay them in emerald or something. Banning the idiot might also help.
RingOfStorms The only reason he did that is because we had an arguement..but i didn't know (the first time ) that he did that..i banned him later...i wanted a plugin like that to prevent future issues...And my server has 6k registred users and 75 staff members..i can;t watch them all...if now one wants to do this i will do it myself..i was just to busy to do it..but it seems i will have to ... I didn't ask you to teach me how to manage my staff i asked if you could do a plugin....You just can't be more off topic than this... You wouldn't have reset the world just like that if you had 6K users... EDIT: If you cant trust your 75 staff members, then why did you hire them?
A plugin for one specific purpose just to be discarded after use is kind of excessive. Prune your bad staff and move on.

Just giving advice; I had an Admin who did that when my server was brand new, I banned him in a second.
We're an idiot community? You can't form sentences properly and you lie about your server. I have lost hope for the newer generations. Edit: it's not an "simple" plugin by the way.
Still need it? I have some code that searches for fire and removes it, and could easily be adopted to another Material.

Here you go: BlockDel.jar. Command: Code: blockdel <block#> [(world [<worldname>|all)]|<playername>[<radius>]|<radius>] Error message with usage isn't quite working, but I believe it can do what you want. It only deletes the supplied blocks in loaded chunks, so if you are not close enough to view it, it won't delete it. If the crash comes when you try to view it, suggest approaching backwards. Default permissions is Op. If this troll gets ahold of this command, he could do severe damage, so suggest running this locally, without opening to Internet, then removing the plugin when you are done. It does allow players in-game to run it, in which case it defaults to a radius of 20 blocks around them in that world only. Or you can delete around a named player.
