    World Regeneration.
Make a World regeneration to world's seed that dont edit world guard region. So all regions stays untouched, but whole world regenerate to the seed that is entered or at least to the same seed world was created with. This will really help alot when ppl destroy world and grief it totally. It almost impossiable to keep world fresh and clear in manual. So i really hope that someone smart can make this plugin.
Or at least write here - why it is impossible.

I am not really understanding this sctipting basics, but at least some of config should looks like:

world name: [wolrd name that will be regenerated]
regenereration ID: [new ID, keep old one]
    Ignore WolrdGuard regions: [false/true]
    Automatic regeneration: [#days]

I think that is all what should be there.

This will really help to servers to keep them fresh and clean like a just wiped servers.

    Thx for yr attention.

PS: If this idea is not new and plugin is already done (i tryed to seach but didnt found any) plz link plugin or at least write down plugin name.

This would have serious problems with upgrading, when new biomes are added, or terrain features, because it would regenerate wrong terrain when updated.

can this plugin make a backup of new generated map and just like copy paste with saving World Guard regions?

It isn't a plugin, that is just how Minecraft world generation works, but for your second question, not exactly, because if someone explores more outwards than your backup world would have, and breaks blocks out there, then you would have to basically create a huge backup world, and its not realistically possible.

  5. Its possible to create world generation plugins. -.-

Yes, it is, but you can't just regenerate on a different version of Minecraft than the the version it was generated originally on and expect it to work.

well, with world boarder map is being already full generated to borders and the only question is in memory size of it ? But it would really save loads of time to repair world and servers wont need to wipe so offen. It will give a much more fun with creepers/enderdragon/witcher/explosions plugins/magic explosions becouse admins will not care about how ruined the world is - single backup will restore world and safe all regions. It is really useful. And if the main question is memory size...

Yeah I would just use a backup plugin, and just have one initial backup that would be it. I think that is the best route to take.

Only problem how to restore backup without wiping WorldGuard regions. and that would be brilliant

WorldGuard regions shouldn't be wiped out within a backup restore, as I believe they are saved within the WorldGuard data folder in plugins.

well yeah region will be saved (with region owner and flags) but all blocks inside region will be restored to defoult. all scructure inside region will be lost.

You might be able to use BigBrother or another plugin that tracks block breaks, and when you are ready to restore an area, I think you can use a wand from WorldEdit to restore that region.

you mean restore area by area ? it will take ages for a map 10000x10000. I mean not just one region - i mean 200+ regions.

I know this is a really old thread, but if Scudss still need help, consider using the plugin WorldReset (download).
