    Hello.

I am running a large factions server.

And every so many MINS, it can change! it will have a LARGE lag spike.

Here is my nolagg examine from 375 seconds.

I am not sure how to open the type of file provided. I tried a couple different text editors. Who hosts CurseCraft and what are the specifications? If you have any more information related to lag please specify. I hope I can help.

You open it up with the program NoLagg.

Also, my friend GontrollerPvP are getting this too.

Best way i can, no idea what the problem is.

I think its buycraft, as every time it has
[INFO] [Buycraft] Package checker successfully executed.

    It lags.

Did a test without buycraft, and still lagged.

Any progress or leads so far? I am getting weird lag spikes lasting 3000 ms every few minutes. This is with about 80 player online.

  7. The extreme lag spike seems to be related to the chunk provider, not sure what happens there - do you have a world all players get kicked from or randomly teleported to?

Which version of NoCheatPlus are you using right now? The TickTask looks a bit heavy (though 300 players is a lot), you could relieve it a little by disabling the hover check. Latest dev builds contain some improvements on it and other things, which might also help with the average load (nothing to do with the extreme spikes as far as i can judge it).

I may be related to mcMMO. Another large faction server posted this on their website. This is all the information given on the topic, but it is likely the cause of these recent lag spikes in servers.

"I am proud to notify you all that we have now fixed the server lag issues! We have pinpointed the problems down to McMMO, it was causing problems such as memory leaks, running out of Linux file handles and a whole bunch of other problems. However I must be fair to McMMO and say this was partially because of the Bukkit build we were running and one or two other plugins."

Sorry for the late reply, been busy.

After speaking to my freind over at Gontroller PvP He was also having the same problem.

We both are on the same host.

We both down-graded to a lower McMMO Version to a late 1.3 version. This has 98% of MY lag problem.. 100% of his lag problem. (He gets 300 99% of the time)

Will report back with more updates.

Possibly Host Name cause usually sometimes if tons of people use one of the same host that follow issue happens unfortunately due to massive data used sometimes i can figure out if you know what host you use i can check it whats wrong.if you and gontroller use the same host thats like 600 players or something like that i believe that can cause tons of lag. Unfortunately

I getting the same thing. Package checker successfully executed. This happens every 5mins, and spams the Console- Connection timed out. The server doesn't crash just lags out for about 20secs, and makes everyone Time Out. I don't have McMMO. I am running a Prison server. With the Following Plugins - AutoAnnouncer, Buycraft, CCLogger, ChestKeeper, ChestShop, cTablist, CustomDrops, DisguiseCraft, Enjin Minecraft Plugin, Essentials, HeadBounty, InfinityDispenser, JCVaultListener, LagMeter, LogBlock, Marriage, MCJailedTools, MineResetLite, MineStats, ModReq, NoCheatPlus, NPCWarehouse, PermissionsEx, PluginMetrics, ProtocolLib, Scavenger, ServerSigns, SimpleClans, SimpleRegionMarket, SimpleVoteListener, Spectate, TimTheEnchanter, update, VariableTriggers, Votifier, WGCustomFlags, WGTreeFarmFlag, WorldEdit, WorldGuard.

    Server Info- [Server (Canada - 32gb RAM - 3TB HDD - Intel Xeon E1245v2 3.4ghz Quad core)]

    I have a 120 slots, hourly backs.

I need to know if this is from buycraft or one of my custom plugins. From what I read up top, it sounds like it has to do with you guys.

    Thanks For Reading Dillon
