Hey, I've been looking for this for a couple of weeks now. If it already exsists please link me! What: I would like someone to make a plugin that hooks into the Buycraft api and makes a prefix infront of a players name displaying the amount of donated money. According to the creator of Buycraft, the amount of donated money is saved and this should be possible. I would also like this prefix to update. So if player "bobmann200" donates 5 dollar, his prefix would be &3[5]. When he donates another 5 dollars, his prefix would turn to &3[10]. Requiredments: It would need to meet these requiredments: - Factions prefix support. - SimplePrefix Support. - A permissions node that enables the prefix in certain groups. Optional: - Custom prefix with config? - Hook into simpleprefix so it doesn't mess up the order of world/prefix/name/suffix? When: As long as it takes to make. But I'd prefer it soon of course
Did you specifically ask them if they would add it? I know that people In the future will probably ask for the same thing as you. So.. Ask them to add it, it is after all a payment service.
It's unlikely they will add such a thing, cause it's focused on only providing the tools that are needed to use other plugins to reward donators (through console commands).
I guess so. I would like to make it myself, but I'm still learning java. Bump EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
You could ask lmc to add a variable with the total donated amount in the package commands. Something like {donationtotal}. You could then just use the commands your prefix system uses, with the variable in it.
You wont be able to do that without some kind of implementation. I could work on doing this since I used a system like this before on my old servers. Something like a /upgrade [name] [amount] kind of thing. You just input the [amount] on the command input page of BuyCraft. Hope that helps, if it still matters to you that much I can work with it. About multi-plugin support... not so sure, I can give it a shot. It won't be this week, maybe some other developers could have a look at picking this up. I'm a bit busy working on my servers website currently ^^ forgot to mention. Using something like Variable Triggers is how I did my original one. I'd love such an upgrade system That would be perfect. I I'd prefer your first idea, but I'll give it a shot if you don't want to make it. EDIT by Moderator: merged posts, please use the edit button instead of double posting.
Am I the only one thinking that PEX is alot less confusing? I cant stand the was GroupManager is setup.
It might be more easy for you, but it can potentially crash your server, or cause severe permissions-related issues.
I have never had a issue with it. All the people I have configured it for haven had problems either. I dont think it happens that often.
Is it really worth the risk though? Btw, I moved from Group Manager to custom coded permissions plugin which supports my TDM configuration
