I miss the old Bukkit Auto-Installer.

 

What I mean by

Was that people who dont like change at all and go forth a very linear way of living.

To be quite honest, It was rather crude for its time but it did get the job done. However I do fancy the new interface.

 

benjja1 can't get it to work? perhaps I can help there, if you pm me. and by all means, use the old installer if it works for you, i'm just saying you won't get any help with issues with that one.

 

I tried useing this but this came up when i double clicked the "iridium server manager.exe" this came up "Unhandled axception has occurred in your application.if you click Continu.the application will ignore this error and attempt to continu.if you click Quit.the application will close immediately." So i pressed continue but nothign happened...Help me please...

you probably didn't get the vb powerpacks 10. it was one of the prerequisites you know

 

you were right to download that and then it ran fine but then when i put all the new files in the server folder it expects everything to be on the desktop. how do i change it to my specified folder? I dont wont all these files in my desktop. but besides that it works fine. amazing work here, bravo sir bravo

nvm i figured it out all i had to do was put the exe file inside the folder to lol i feel stupid

This is my first working Bukkit server program working,thanks!
But I have one question:I tried to go to my server,but the server is 1.4.5.
Can you show me how to update the server to 1.4.7?
UPDATE:I downloaded it to Beta, after I downloaded Stable and it only does 1.4.5,but it only does 1.4.6.What do I do?

I remember this stack trace I am not 100% sure but you need to download and install C++ redistributable.

I could be wrong. :/ Thats why I have ImminentFate to double check.

C++? no, that's actually an in-game error
i do believe it might be your world being corrupted, or your craftbukkit.jar file but I can't be sure. Try redownloading craftbukkit, and if that doesn't work, try creating a new world and see if that fixes it.

 

How do i get an IP?

 

Haha I really need to update myself, I remember (at) TnT saying that you need C++ 2008 redistributable. Oh well.

Every time I try to download Bukkit off of this program, It comes up with an error and never installs correctly.

 

it's a .exe file, it's for windows only
hawkfalcon made a mac one, have a look at that

it shouldn't do that, but if it does, just get bukkit from http://dl.bukkit.org and put it into your server folder.
May i ask what the error says? a screenshot would be helpful
