Let's say we've got a player called Bob. Bob is new at a server and runs far away where he creates his home. The server got some shops in spawn. Bob is too scared to run after the stuff he needs. He could just let his NPC Toby do it? Toby could take some money for running to spawn, and buying, what Bob wants. Everyone could kill Toby on his way to spawn and take his money. Bob could let Toby wear some armour or give him some extra money, If he run faster. If Toby gets back to Bob without being killed, maybe place it in some chests or just give Bob his items.
