Alignment with Aura

    I would like to see someone create an alignment plugin to allow people to become good or evil and allow other players to see just how good or evil that player is, along with permissions in game allowing only someone that is x good or x bad to be allowed in a town or to do a quest.

    the way others could tell if a player is good or bad, and just how much would be displayed by the shade of someones name. The more evil someone has been the darker red a name gets and the more good deeds you do will counter act the bad deeds and will start turning the name blue.

    possibly even if possible to allow a trail/stench like good players are followed by white light and blue type of fragrance while bad players develop a red trail that looks like disease and nasty.

    There would also be a way for players to see just how good or bad they are I recommend the limit of good or bad points be 1,000 and -1,000. 0 would be the starting point where your name is pure white.

    and the alignment should have options for customization, and allow certain actions to result in changes in alignment. example killing good players would make you more evil and killing evil players would make you more good, but for the most part killing in general would earn you bad points while good points would be built from healing others, doing volunteer quests, helping good npc's donating to a church, etc.

    First off, the there is not as much as you think in ways of coloring names. And second, how do you think that trails of light should follow players? Glowstone blocks, torches, etc.?

    i was thinking lapiz pieces for good and redstone for bad. and whatever is possible to make it change durastically over the course of a couple subtle changes is what i'd like

    It's actually really simple. But you will need TagAPI as a dependency http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/tagapi
     
  5. Recurrent visual potion effects could also work as a trail.

    But when coloring the name tags, don't you still have to stick with the limited colors that are built into Minecraft?
