Players Can Break Item Frames

Hey guys I wanted to know if anyone else is having an issue with players being able to break item frames and pick them up in areas where they're no permitted to build or break. It's getting annoying and I want to use them, but not if they're going to be so fragile.

 

Item frames are entities, not blocks. Same goes for paintings. It sucks =\

Not sure if there's any plugins out there to protect them in certain areas, it's worth a look.

 

Well the thing is I thought that might be it, yet I have paintings in this public area as well and they're not breakable :/

UPDATE: So I found a Plugin called FrameProtect so now people can't break other players' item frames, yet they can still place them wherever (i.e. in public areas)
