Anti advertising plugins?

Hey!
I have a few plugins to combat against advertising like BadWords and a few others.
Is there any plugins which will block advertising servers IPs/URLs through /msg 's?

 

I remember seeing one on a server once, no idea if there's a publicly available one. Caught me off guard at first, as it changed the IP to "This Server", so they were spamming "Everyone join This sever!" or "This server is the best! Join now!"

 

Yeh as evilmidget38 said , and also in a hungergames server , i think giving you the IP will be considered as advertising in this forum so i wont post it. when you type 5.96.41.9 <--- random ip , it said Please Don't Advertise on our Server

 

You can configure HeroChat to do that, I'm not sure if it's still developed, it was quite a while when I searched it.

 

If you wanted to excessively check, you could extract the IP, send an SLP to 25565 and block the IP if there's a timeout. Unfortunately this is not practical at all. You could look into something like this:

I've also written a plugin before that completely clears the chat. Useful for after somebody attempts to byapss this sort of measure.

Remember to detect ipv6 addresses too.

Yeah, it's not particularly practically for somebody to copy those down. Slight oversight on my part

 

There is a plugin called AntiAdvertising. So, yeah.

NoCheat replaces IP's with *.*.*.*... or is that mChat? Check both of those. I don't know which one is doing it on my server, but it works. XD

It'd be funny if it, instead, replaced IP's to 192.168.1.119 or 127.0.0.1 so everyone else laughs at them for being newbs.

 

Unfortunately I get people advertising "0.0.0.0", "127.0.0.1", "localhost", etc. all the time.

 

The maker of spamguard is making a new plugin called clean chat that is supposed to block spam bad words any advertisment of other server ect.....

 

ultrabans does this and kicks them off
