Are region files safe to delete from a world folder? my backups are in the gigabytes now and i need a way to free up space, i see a CRAP ton of region files, are they vital?
Of course they are, it contains all your world data. Get WorldBorder + Dynmap and then you can start trimming the world. Once you do that, just remove Dynmap if you don't want it and keep WorldBorder and set a radius so it doesn't get too large.
Is there a way to teleport to the chunks associated with the files? if so that would Be sooo helpful, whoever helps will get a "Like" for my appreciation
