Basically, I have monsters spawning set to false and difficulty set to 2 on my small server. With these settings, shouldn't monsters only spawn with a spawner or egg? Because that is what I am trying to do, however no monsters can spawn at all, whether with an egg, spawner, or naturally. I tried this same setup on the normal minecraft server and it resolved, spawners worked but monsters didn't spawn naturally. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
Having monsters disabled disables all natural ways a monster can be spawned, i assume that includes spawners and eggs. However plugins that let you spawn monsters will still work such as /spawn mob in the commandbook plugin.
