Help with Bukkit plugin: Dynmap

Hello forum,

For fun i have setup my own minecraft server with bukkit running. I have the plugin "dynmap" installed.
I want to have dynmap configure that is you go to: myserver/dynmap. You can do the same if you go to myserver:8123.

I found this forum that sayed how it much do. But it doesn't to this day.

chmod the files to 755 or so, so the webserver is allowed to read them (in most ftp/scp clients it's like rightclick -> properties/file attributes to chmod)

 

JWhy thanks for you help. I did change the permission to the folder. It didn't change nothing. Then I going to search if the user had permission. I found the the user was in the good group. But the group had no permissions.
I restart the server, update it and start everything. Now it works.

PS how did you find the command GET? Do you use it to check if you got permissions? Or is it to copy file form server to you computer?

 

Do you mean these "GET"s in that list I posted? Those are from the Chrome developer tools. Just open a page that is broken, right click somewhere on the page, then click "Inspect element". On the tab "console" you'd see these errors I posted.

EDIT: By the way I forgot to say, that you should chmod the folder recursively. There's often an option in your ftp/scp client, in a bash ("better" console ) you could use chmod -R 755 dynmap/ to chmod the folder "dynmap" recursively

 

The get function is handy. Nice to have that in Chrome.

Yes, i did change permission recursively but that dindn't change anything. To more get in details. I run the minecraft server with user1. This user has not giving enough permission to group or something else. To check this, i made user2. I give user2 the permissions to to group of the minecraft folder, webserver and the start everything up. After I started everything with user2, it worked.
