Players who have fireaspect sword can hurt others with the fire for like a split second in protected towns including the spawn wich is protected by a town so this is a huge problem!
This is a plugin issue and should be posted on the thread for the plugin in question. Otherwise, you'll need to specify more information. What plugin do you use to protect the towns?
It's a common bug with WorldGuard since 1.4.4 came out. I'd recommend updating worldguard then posting.
No we dont use worldgaurd we use towny to protect the pvp area from the spawn area the entire spawn is protected by a town
