So I was told to put the url of the texture pack I want users to use into my config next to the texture pack option. But the thing is, I want users to use the default texture. So I can I set it so that it tells users ot use the default texture pack?

No, in the new version of Minecraft in the server.properties file you can tell players to use a certain texture pack :p

    I know how to broadcast.

When you use that option, the texture pack isn't forced on the players. When joining they're asked to click yes if they want to use it, or no if they don't.

I know....that's what I WANT to do, except with the default texture pack. How do I do it with that one?

you can't it only asks if they want to download the file the link points to, it won't force them to use it.

Did I not just say that..I know you can't force it. But adding the link let's users know that that's the texture pack you want them to use. So there's no link to any default Minecraft texture pack? Because I want my users to know I want them to use the default texture pack.

why would there be a link to the default texture pack that comes "default" with every installation of minecraft?

there's no zip file of the default texture pack it's inside the minecraft.jar file.

Okay so why can't any of you just tell me, 'It's currently not possible."? That way instead of wasting my time you could actually answer my question.

I never asked if I could force users to use a texture pack, and that's the only thing I was told. "You can't force players to use a texture." Read my question next time? :p

Why would you want to ask them to download the default pack?

packing the default texture pack files from the minecraft.jar and putting it in the folder should work. i dont know how custom texture packs work, though, so compare what you are doing to a working one.

yea all u need to do is put a link to the default texture pack, but then everyone who clicks to use the texture pack will assume it is different from default, then they will be like "What the f**k?"
