Server says "Cloud is a fag".

i this is my second post about this issue.

When i:

Break a cake,
Click on [Sell] sign

the server says: Cloud is fag.

This has been SOLVED!
IF you have the same problem, delete MC eat.

Assuming you are referring to bukkit not supporting piracy, and you pirated the game, you sir are the dick. Somebody (notch) put's their time and effort into a game, and you steal it, then have the audacity to call us the dicks for not supporting you in your theft. Anyway, I find bukkit does take it a little too far; There are sometimes when people are using offline mode or plugins like xauth for a legitimate purpose, and refusing to provide help until somebody justifies it (even then, it is rare you will get help) is a little too much. But then again, they wouldn't have to if people like you could just man up and buy your toys instead of stealing them.

That's not true. I know many people who use it to allow connecting when the authentication servers are down, and others who use it to link with their webpage.

Even that "somebody" who put the time and effort into the game added the option to turn online-mode off... in the case that the authentication servers go down... to allow people to still play.

Why doesn't bukkit remove the xAuth addon from the site if it's apparently proof of piracy... bukkit obviously supports piracy if that's the case, right?

People need to lay off until they see PROOF the user is supporting piracy, instead of bitching because they see an addon that bukkit even makes available to us.

EDIT. You realize it's a great addon to boot people who go idle for 2 hours, right?

xAuth can be used as an additional line of defence against anyone who compromises an account's first level of security, to prevent them from running malicious commands.

Essentials has a setting to 'boot' people who are inactive for 2 hours (or whatever duration you specify), it's not a rare feature.

 

It's not illegal to put online-mode to false.
And if it is, i will put it on online-mode true.

 

If your server is running offline mode, that means offline players can join. 99% of offline players have not bought the game. By allowing people who have not paid, you're condoning piracy.

And bytheway, not everyone can afford minecraft. That's why there is piracy, and an economy? Even if people could afford it, some people may not have access to a debit card, credit card, or a paypal account.

 

If they have not paid for it, then they should not play it. He said himself that it's cracked. (not anymore though)

 

In order for this to be an excuse to pirate software, you would have to assume that playing minecraft is a right, and not just a privilege. Find a way to pay, or don't play. OR... limit yourself to the free version they have given to people in just the situation you refer to.

And you all people, should grow up and understand that offline mode & using some advanced auth plugins are not condole to piracy, its just defense. Because as I said previously.. notch auth server is fag.

 

By using offline mode you are condoning piracy. Also, your ability to write an intelligent sentence without any curse words in it shows you're very intelligent.
