Does bukkit Beta Build Create Lag On Its Own?

im just confused. my server connection was so great [ on 1.3.2 ] and now since 1st development build to first beta build, its caused lag that i cant explain. my firewalls down, internet strong, and great connection but when i log in to my server, Bam, lag. i log out and then back in, same story

could this lag be possibly from the builds and not the internet? i run a 4gb RAM server, 10 plugins, and 10 slots. why is it lagging????? :/

 

I am having the same problem.. I've been having issues all week so far. Constant lag, unexplainable -- never happened before! My server is definitely overkill for hosting also. (e3-1290v2, 32gb ddr3-ecc ram, 1gbps)

 

So You Have A good Connection And Still U Got The Same Problem As Me?

 

Quite a few of the developmental build have massive memory leaks in them, but this is to be expected as they are not production builds.
