When i put a dev or beta build on my server i get really bad lag and world loading problems. Is this a issue with my server?
the new 1.4 does not play nice right now with any plu gins that deal with chunks and anti cheats list your plug ins
Just because it is a dev or beta has nothing to do with lag. It only means that not everything got tested by the bukkit homies thoroughly. I've been running dev and beta builds for 2 years on a live server, without any problems. It just means they themselves did not test each and everything before uploading the jar for us. In other words, when they release a RB, it means they tried hard to test it in many ways, and found no major bugs. Disclaimer: Only run dev builds if you know what you're doing, keep a backup at hand. No dev build ever ruined our maps, but I still feel like putting this disclaimer out there.
