Just Wondering..

Hi I was just wondering I'm not a very good programmer I was wondering if someone could make me a ranks plugins with Owner CoOwner and Head admin? Or just set me up the PEX file I would appriciate it

You want someone to make you a plugin just for CoOwner and Owner ranks? And You want players to waste there times to make you your ranks? Really dude. just do it your self, doesn't take that long to do it.

 

Setting up pex ranks isn't all that hard to do, and there is quite a few tutorials out there if you don't know how, I would recommend looking up some of those.

My opinion and help

If you can't manage your own server, then you should not run a server. Its a vital part in being a server operator to be able to control the server. Asking random people for doing your permissions file is not only wrong but its also a security breach. Like said before, there is tutorials on it if you spent a couple of seconds searching for it.

To even get my server running and also It isn't even portforwded.... And you think its not that hard

 

It really isn't that hard...Most plugins are drag and drop (you put the file in the plugins folder, and you are done). As for permissions, just read the tutorials out there or even watch a youtube video. The only thing to really remember is to never use the tab button and to keep all of the spacing and formatting consistent.

 

I know a lot of people that are WAY younger then 16 and managed to create a bukkit server. Also, permission plugins are designed for newbies, they aren't only for plugin developers. If you think you need a Plugin Developer's help for setting up permissions than you should just stick to playing on other players servers.

Experience is the best teacher. You don't have to know how to code to set up permissions, and us doing it for you isn't going to help you at all.

 

I am 16 years old, and I manage a bukkit server. There is tons of youtube tuts out there, and most plugin configs are really easy to use. Once you get the hang of everything it really isn't all that hard, IMO the hardest part is reading errors if you don't have any java knowledge. If that becomes a problem for you there is a section here on the bukkit forums where devs will help you solve your errors. Also most configs and perms are done in YML, use this to sort of proof read your configs / perms to check for syntax errors http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/

 

My cousin is 11, and he perfectly port-forwarded and set up his plugins. How hard can it be? I mean i can do it in about 30 minutes.. For all your plugins. Its just a matter of searching.
