    Hi folks...

We have two PC's on a home network. Both ping each other and the standard Minecraft server has been working fine.

My son loaded Bukkit Server which refuses to allow me to connect from my PC !?. "can't reach server, failed to connect to the server, connection timed out" etc. We are both listed in the 'ops.txt' file, the 'white-list.txt', 'permissions.yml' & both banned files are blank. All we have added is the Multiverse-Core & Multiverse-Portals plug-ins...

What are we missing ?. PC's ping each other and the standard Minecraft server works !

May be a little weird, but try portforwarding and then use the external IP to connect.

You sure your connecting to the right ip its either 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.2.x (x=the last number for the local ip adress)
