PermissionsEx: Not enough permissions?

Okay, I have finally added some basic permissions to my PermissionsEx file, through the console. I was testing it by moving myself from each group. It worked fine in console - it came up "User groups set!"

I then checked if I had got all the permissions for default in-game. I found out that I was still opped. I tried to change myself into another group - Moderator ingame. It came up with message "Dont have enough permissions for group ----"

The dashes represent each group that i tried. That same message came up.

Try typing in the console /pex user MinerScoped add *

 

I tried that in the console, but it came up with 'unknown command'. I also tried it ingame, but it came up with 'doesn't have permissions' message thing again.

edit: however once i did 'pex user minerscoped add *' in the console again - it worked...but....i moved myself to default group, and i was still opped! Do I need a node for this - not to be opped when in default or member group?

 

When you do /pex minerscoped add * no matter in which group you are, you will always have all permissions.

 

oh okay...so if someone else were to come, they wouldn't be opped? And they can't op themselves?
