Bukkit nether world problems/PLEASE HELP!!!

So I have been working on getting to the nether on my server, and finally made the portal. But when I try to go through it, I just get the annoying sounds and animation of going in it, but I don't travel to the nether. I made sure that nether was enabled and everything. Is it maybe because the craftbukkit is out of date, or something else? Please help, I would really appreciate it! Thank you for your time!

 

Either make a multiverse portal to the nether or install the multiverse nether portal plugin.

 

I dont want to use that plugin. There must be something from preventing it. Is there something in multiverse core or multiverse inventories?

 

do you have hellworld:True in your server.properties?

OK, I will use it, but do i just install the plugin, or do i need to do something fancy with it like set the portals up a certain way?

what is the name of the world you are in? make sure world folder worldname_nether exists and is loaded. (ignore "loaded" if you didnt do anything with world folders before)

 

You can also use my plugin Nethrar which did the same thing Multiverse-Portals does, except before MVP came out So no, not the only way. Only difference is that with my plugin you don't get the swirly animation and sounds.
