    Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a stopwatch plugin for my server. I have seen one around before but it is now outdated. I need the stopwatch to be accessed by individual people so that they can click on a start element (i.e a sign) and then when they click on a stop element then it stops and displays their time over a server message. Does anyone know if a plugin like this available? Thanks.

I'll make it that uses signs.

I actually still have the .jar file for the old stopwatch I used but it has been outdated. Would that help?

Naa. I've got all the ideas on what I want in my head already.. ha ha

Do you need permissions with this? for using signs and/or creating the signs.

I imagine it would work like this. Have a start sign and a stop sign. The first line on the start sign would be [Start] and the first line on the stop sign would be [Stop]. So when start sign is clicked it starts the timer and when stop sign is clicked it stops it. It would be cool if the person could see the timer counting up (I'm not sure how though). When the stop sign is click it displays a message on the server saying something like "Username has just completed the run in 15:04". It would also be great if this information could be sent to a text document or database and be stored or even displayed in the server i.e /rank username.

Haha getting a little carried away. To answer your question no permissions will be needed to create the sign as people wont have access to destroying or editing the signs (I hope).

Well, it's almost 4am and I've got work in 5 hours, so I'm done for the night. ha I should have the plugin done by tomorrow night. I've got the basic functions of it done, just gotta do the database saving, ranking, and format the messages. I'm think I'm gonna have it only save to the database if their time is faster then their old time (if they have one) or maybe make that an option (save_only_on_faster_time) or something.

Ok.. here's the plugin. Still got some things on the todo list.. but it's mostly there. Just waiting for bukkit to approve it. There's a mirror link to the jar on github in the description.
