[req] chest trap

heres my idea: when you open a chest it emits a redstone current that could activate a trap. i would like this asap if anyone can do it. thx in advance.

Can't you do that with a bud switch?

 

whats a bud switch

 

A chunk bud switch is great, get everything in that chunk to activate the traps.

 

Block Update Detector, search on youtube.

 

correct me if i am mistaken but dont bud switches not work for chests

 

I can do this, and it should work with chests too, whats your server ip, i can come online in 1 hour.
EDIT: Chests doesnt work, tried few different bud switches.
