Hello, I have a problem with GriefPrevention and residence plugins. I don't use them togheter But they don't work induvidually either. Can anyone help? Heres the information that might help you:

    Plugins that i'm using:
    Essentials
    Factions
    Vault
    Chestshop
    AuthMe
    LWC
    WorldEdit
    NoEntityGrief
    WirelessRedstone
    PermissionsEX

    Residence help:
I downloaded residence plugin but since i was using WorldEdit and i needed wooden axe, I change the itemID to wooden shovel. Using permissionsEX i gave my group residence.admin and default group residence.create, but i tried it out and it didin't select. I tried selecting without the tool and when i typed in /res create test it said "only admins are allowed to use this command".
I tried buffing the config abit still didn't help so i deleted residence and installed GriefPrevention

    GriefPrevention help:
I looked up some videos online and it said to use a golden shovel. Since golden shovel wasn't used by any other plugins i left the config.yml as it was. I tried it out with and without OP still nothing. Typed /adminclaim and /basicclaim. nothing... So i put the permissions down on my PermissionsEX -> permissions.yml tried again - nothing.

I think it has something to do with theese plugins Config files or permissionsEX is messing everything up

Heres my current PermissionsEX permissions file:

    Please help!!!

  2. paste your config, you probably have AdminOnlyCommands: true, change it to false

I would recommend you to use worldguard instead of the NoEntityGrief. Also i would recommend to put your server in online mode and stop use permissonex cause it EATS ur ram like a CAKE.

Worldgaurd solves your issue and performance increase if you dont use permissionex, atleast in my experience.
Our server used to eat 9/10 gb of ram with permissionex, we removed it and now it doesnt go above 3 gb of ram :)

  4. I'm using:
    PermissionEx
    Residences
    And 50 more :)

And with 8 players i have 600MB ram used, so i don't think of using that is something wrong :) WorldGuard is a adminprotection and Residence user protection, so it only depends on what you need.

What I use against griefers is just a different group, and ModifyWorld (which is included in the PEX package). Add some perms to trusted user group, done!

Thank you, theese are great suggestions for my server, But permissionsEX works great for my server and NONE of theese replies except the 1st one even talk about GriefPrevention or Residence.

in the past i had issues of res and world edit having conflicts using the same tool wand, so i changed that worldedit wand to a iron shovel and that solved all issues

    What do you mean
Idk, i changed the wooden axe ID to wooden shovel but when i try to select points nothing happens. Like using a plain old shovel not a selection tool
