Completely deny access to IP address

    Hello all,

    I was wondering whether it would be possible to completely deny access to an IP. I'm not talking about banning an IP, but even going as far as denying him access to the server. Is there a plugin that does this, or do I have to go deeper and use a firewall for this?

    For the record, I'm running my server on Ubuntu. I don't need help with setting up a firewall - I know my way around Linux. Just wondering if there's an alternate solution ;>

    If you want to go and prevent ip's acces to the physical server i don't think that is up to bukkit :p

    a firewall blocking the ip would be the next logical step for me
