Plugins conflicting with Tekkit (Praying for a Fix)

Hello Gentlemen, I'd like to start out by saying, I have complete and utter respect for what you guys do. I'm a huge fan of minecraft, and an even bigger fan of Bukkit. Unfortunately, I cannot come to you all as a contributory member. Instead, I bring a problem.

I have a Server I've been hosting, Tekkit.

I can't seem to use Prefixes or Suffixes. Also, I find that a few of the plugins that I've added to the server don't even seem to work. I'm very new at this, I will not lie.

I believe that the problem is coming from Essentials. Which I have installed, along with Group Manager.



It would be really really help if someone was able to help me fix this situation.

I'll post any information requested. I will even link a Download of the actual server that I'm running.

I believe the Tekkit Server that I'm running is.. 3.1.2
Which runs along with Bukkit 1.2.5.. I think.

You should ask over at their forums. This is the bukkit forums, not Tekkit.

 

you are using essentials and groupmanager for bukkit 1.3.1. tekkit is 1.2.5. downgrabe to 1.2.5 (essentials/groupmanager version 2.9.2). also, pluginmanager, banrecipe, and townychat are all crashing.

Right, so if I go take this to Tekkit, and they tell me that this is a bukkit problem and point me back their, what are my options then?

Thank you very much for your help, you were absolutely correct. It took me a while to figure out the things, but now I have a bit more knowledge on why a server would mess up. Of course I would never come close to a genious like you but I am taking baby steps. Thank you Sir, I will be looking more into this forum, and close look at the development progress of Essentials.
