Ok guys, i run a 24/7 minecraft server. we cant afford to go offline to use something like MCedit. but my map is friggin huge, i need a good tool to use while the server is running to delete old chunks to make space for new ones... i really just need a tool to clean up some chunks... not regen but completely delete them...

You'd have to delete the corresponding *.mca files then in the /mapname/region folder. You can't delete those while the server is running, or you get nasty errors in console.

Wow. How'd you manage to extend your map so far? :/

I mean I know how, but I'm curious as to why you want to keep the extra thousands of blocks when all I see are "lines" of chunks.

Because I'm not doing just to free space. I'm oung i for small little pieces of things that aren't part of the border. I need lot of chunks completely removed. I may be using that work border thingin the future.

  10. You could always use world borders and trim >:)
