Bukkit for Minecraft 1.3?

Hey there, first sorry for my bad english. Is there any Information if there is a new Version of Bukkit for Minecraft 1.3 @1st August??

So i want to use the new features with the NPC's and anything like that.

 

Well the bukkit team does work with Mojang as far as i know so expect an update within a week or two maybe less. After the release date of Minecraft 1.3

You may even see one come out around the same time as 1.3, due to the release of an RC for minecraft coming in a few hours. Gives developers time to catch up with changes and make updates to mods and plugins

 

Okay cool sounds good, so if i have luck i can download today (so 1.3 Pre is out) a RC of Craftbukkit?

 

no, because the prerelease is what bukkit builds on, for the minecraft RC 1.3

 

ahh okay..so @1st august mc 1.3 is comming out, and if everything works fine few hours later bukkit for mc1.3 will be released?

 

maybe, but might not be for a day or two after, or even up to a week. The quickest they were was back at 1.7.3, they had one out within 25 hours, and that was without anyone officially working for mojang.

 

This pre-release will help a ton for the Bukkit team and server owners. They're giving us time to prepare...

 

im really excited when the update will roll out. so i test the latest snapshot of mc in singleplayer and i think its awesome

 

Is there no snapshot I can download for my server? I hate to keep my players away from their creations for a week.
