whos complaining? Im just pointing out the current superior plugin that does the same thing.

Notice I said CURRENT superior plugin.

 

When I write a command to teleport in the lobby, I do not teleport, and how to choose a team? I demand the command for that would teleport to spawn your team

 

You have to do /mcwar join which sends you to the lobby, then right click the sponge if you haven't changed it to send you to the teams. There will be a new version out soon which makes it much much easier and with lots of new features

I to am getting an error when booting MCWARS. Getting a” [SEVERE] Wrong method arguments used for event type registered”. Hosting on craftbukkit-1.2.5-R5.1 . Tried putting permissions in globalgroups or groups and users in worlds. I can setspawn lobby and effect the position data for the teams in the config.yml but if I try to do mcwar join nothing happens. No movement and no output to chat. Tried permissions as mcwar.join or mcwar.command.join does’t seem to change things. I have not been able to find enough info here to know the proper sequencing of the setup for correct operation. Generated a world called MCWARS and am trying to configure just that world.

Plugins running are: cannons, chesscraft, essentials, falsebook, groupmanager, junkschatprotect, mcwars, minevehicles, multiinv, multiverse, pickboat, worldedit and worldguard.

What am I missing here? Does anything else have to be setup before using mcwar join? Where should the permissions reside and in what format? Can they be in globalgroups and work? Thanks for your help.

 

Since we released mcwar for testing there's been a few changes, therefore atm that mcwar will not work on your server, however soon I am going to release it on bukkit dev. I just need to add a couple more things to it then it will be released. I will post the link on this thread when the next update is ready for download.

 

Thanks for the reply. I have only been at this for about 6 months so I do a lot of guessing. Don't mind doing a little experimenting. Everyone just followed the ideas and had fun. Looking forward to update. I could use a few hints in sequencing the correct install procedure for the elements like lobby, teams and Classes. Thanks

 

Yeah sure np, when we release it on bukkit dev it'll be alot more explained on how to set up and a video on how to install it too hopefully. I'm also working on a server that people can go on to see whats it's like if I'm able too.

 

Just checking in to see if any thing new is happening. Anything I can help test? I have a server where I run several test copies so I can test without wrecking anything. The old 0.1 is still installed but doesn't do much but doesn't seem to do any harm either. Every once in a while it spits out to the server screen, "Team Red have been eliminated! I don't think we have any teams so that is kind of fun!! I've been watchng DEV bukkit and haven't seen anything yet. Could it be under another name for plugin?? Thanks
