I would like a plugin that creates shields. I think it would be simple, but I don't know anything about plugin creating. When holding item ID number 34, it reduces damage taken by 3. I would also like it if you could craft this item with P being Wooden planks, and S being String: P P P P S P P P P And last, the permissions. Ne0nx3r0 Actually, not true. I have a test server I own, and essentials. I used /item 34 1, and it summoned it. It is not created a block. It is in the game files. I do not want it to be real ARMOR. I do not want it to show up on the armor bar, or be somthing you can equip. Just somthing that can lower the amount of damage taken when holding it.
Ah I see, I misunderstood. If you just want them to hold the piston top (while not holding any other item) and reduce their damage, that's doable.

Thanks firecopy! And as for things I think you should change, you said you were removing the ability to attack. I (I have edited this 3 times so far XD) think you should do that, but make it so right clicking the mob will use a shield bash and knock it back about 3 blocks. I think this should lower your defence for 3 seconds, and you can't use shield bash for 3 seconds either.
