I want to revive a plugin that I like but I have little to none experience with java. I was wondering if there was a foolproof way to update a plugin so that it will work with the newer releases. Like with mods u need to recompile with the new mcp every time minecraft updates. Something like that.

The thing with updating a old update is that you have to know a bit about java, the bukkit API changes over a while and old plugins need other methodes, calculations etc. and theres where java knowledge comes in handy

Yes, Java knowledge is handy indeed. But when you keep trying (for ages) you can learn Java. I did it too this way, just try to edit plugins and learn from tutorials.

Maybe tell me your plugin, if it is not to heavy I will look what I can do... The changes since the first bukkit APIs are not sooo big;)
