Server got hacked! online-mode=true!

Hello,
Is was playing on my server and this person joined and was OP instantly and we are not a cracked server. Here is the main plugins we have:- essentials, nocheatplus, group manager, survival games, factions, mcmmo and world edit and world guard
Btw we have the /op command set so it can be only issued in the console!

You say offline-mode=false, do you mean online-mode, which should be true? Also, there are no known force-op vulnerabilities in CraftBukkit. If you have a genuine security issue by all means report it at leaky.bukkit.org

This is such a troll thread. /OP can only be issued through console like you already know. It is impossible for someone to join your server and become OP "instantly".

There are various tools out there that can "hack" servers.
One of them is something called a sessionstealer.
Have you randomly joined a server lately? A suspicous one at that?
Also , Are you 100% sure someone else didnt op him?
Are you the only one with console/computer acess?

 

Hello thank for the help,
But no we had not been asked to join any servers. There are 3 people ( including me ) with access to console but they we're all on when it happened and the control panel that the company uses logs the IP and user of the issued command and this /op command isn't in the logs ( I have checked the logs from 1 hour before the hack up to the very bad grief ( no thanks to world edit ) we had on the server).
