So I've just got a server up and running for like 15 of my friends and I need some help with permissions for plugins. If someone could tell me how to achieve what I want that would be awsome. So I've got Essentials, Factions, LWC, WorldEdit and iSafe on my server currently. I basically want permissions and groups on my server. I want two groups mainly, default players that log in and owner (myself). I would like people that log in to be able to use all the factions commands, /sethome and /home from essentials and also all the LWC commands. And obviously the owner being able to use all commands. That's basically all so far. If someone could set me up with this that would be great.
You're probably better off trying to learn how to do this yourself. I would install Essentials full (so all Essentials plugins are on the same version) then use GroupManager for permissions, following this tutorial. To be blunt, if you don't master the basics you won't manage the rest without relying on other people's help, and nobody's going to want to play on a server owned by someone who has to wait for help from strangers before he can get anything fixed, changed or updated, and believe me there's always things that need changing. Just persevere and you'll get it done in a few hours.
