    Suggested name: Noteblock Amp

    Suggested Category:Fixes

Details: Allows area of sound that A Noteblock can be heard. Example: You have to keep walking down a path to hear a Noteblock song. This would allow you to stand in one spot and listen.

Uses: Nightclubs, any place needing music, Noteblock music videos for YouTube( so you don't hear the sound of the player walking)

Commands: /amp [distance] (changes distance in which noteblocks can be heard

If you have to use spout for this to work, that would be okay. :)

If I'm not mistaken, the client actually requires a noteblock to be close to it to hear the sound, so unless you were to keep the block over the players head or something as they walked. Not exactly the best way to be handling things.

Is it possible to use spout and spoutcraft then? They allow blocks and stuff as long as you have the plugin and the client.
So couldn't you use it to change the Noteblock distance?

Not a clue if that's possible; I don't use the spout API, but I would have to assume it would be and if not could be done with a pull request or something, it's mostly a client-sided issue. All clients would need to be using spout to actually get any kind of benefit, though, as it goes with all client modifications like that.

Yeah I know, I'm a little familiar with spout. I do know that if it adds blocks or most of the time just uses spout, in order for you to use it, you and anyone else who wants to use it need SpoutCraft. It's meant to be able to communicate to the sever more and add blocks and stuff.
