[GENERAL] RotateStairs - Rotate stairs with a click of a button.

I need a plugin where you can rotate stairs by right-clicking a stick by default. In the configuration, you can change which item you can use in order to rotate stairs.

• /StarRotate reload - Reloads plugin

Permission Nodes

• StairRotate - Ability to rotate stairs

Would u mind adding support for slabs pistons and other blocks?

 

I don't really see why you would want to rotate slabs, but I could definitely add pistons. Technically, I could make it for all blocks, but obviously you wouldn't neet to rotate all blocks, especially chests, furnaces, signs, etc.

 

not exactly rotate slabs but make them upside down or not

 

Yes, sorry I forgot to mention that it would be nice if you could be able to rotate Jack 'o Laterns, Pumpkins, Dispensers, and Pistons as well.

I completed the first version of the plugin a few minutes ago. You can grab it here - http://goo.gl/yVQqL

The default item for rotating stairs is a stick and the default item for flipping slabs is a bone. You can change these in the config that is created in plugins/BlockRotate/config.txt

Tomorrow I will add Pumpkins, Jack O Lanterns and pistons. However, I will not be able to add chests, furnaces or dispensers because those blocks hold specific data about their contents.

Cliff, what are the permission nodes? works for OPs, but i cannot get it working for anyone else.

 

Why don't you opensource it and put it on bukkitdev, so we can have more contributors and it will be more accessible.

This looks like a plugin people would want to use.

 

Any chance to get this updated to work on tree blocks?

It is a great plugin otherwise.

 

Umm wouldn't WorldEdit's data cycling tool have done the same thing?

 

I will make a tree block version if you want.

 

maybe some people dont want the lugin or some people might not wanna go do a long list of plugins
